Helena weavers participated in a 2-day tapestry workshop taught by Joanne Hall—”Selfie: A Face in Tapestry.” Morning of day 1 was spent translating a favorite photo into a workable cartoon for use as a template. Then everyone selected the colors they wanted to work with and got started on their smiling faces. We look forward to seeing the finished artworks. This was a fun class and we hope to have another tapestry workshop next year.
